Printer Problem!

Hey, My printer wont print :S I installed it all with no problems and I went to print and nothing would happen. I looked at the printer job list and the jobs were there and it said it was printing but it actually wasnt...
I then cleaned the nozzles and that printed that fine just nothing else will print :S

Can anyone help?

My printer is a Lexmark all in one (Model: X1180)

what type of connection are you using? USB or RS232?
Goto printer and faxes. Right click your printer & select properties.
Under Ports tab, check to see if the port that is selected is the one to which you printer is attached.
If you are using a 25 pin (rs cable) to Centronics (edge card type) then it is usually LPT1.
If it is USb it would be something like Virtual USB Port or something like that.

Check the correct one & try again.

 

Okay, it wont let me, it's saying that the printer isnt conected to the server but it is... I'm using USB
