Printer Wont Print

I have a Lexmark X83 Printer
After we lost power during the last hurricane it's never printed again.
The PC recognizes when I disconnect it (the disconnect sound) and reconnect it but it wont print.
It's set up as the default printer
I can still copy with it, it works, it's just not recognized by the PC.
We endured 3 hurricanes (in one capacity or another) but lost power for several days in the last 2. I had no problem with the Printer after the first loss of power, but never regained "connection" after the 2nd.

 

maybe there's a problem with the connection from pc to printer, even though you can hear the connect/disconnect sound. have you tried reinstalling with latest drivers? have you tried the printer on another computer too?

 

I reinstalled the drivers and that worked
