Printers & Devices disappearing

I really am stumped on this one. When I shut down my Dell laptop Studio 17 and then restart everything seems OK. When I try and print the little blue circle keeps turning on the screen. When I look at printers and devices they are not there. I then restart my computer and they appear. This only happens when I shut down totally. I have been putting my computer in hybernate mode at night so I don't have to shut it down. This problem has been happening for months now it is getting very annoying. I think I tried something in services a while ago but it did not fix the problem. Something that had to do with printer spool but I can't remeber what I did.

 

Well I rebooted and everything was there after I followed your advise and check my services. I am a fan of this website.

 

Looks like I still have the problem. Thought it was fixed. Also have several services missing from my computer. See my post on virus removal it explains the files that are missing. I discovered this when I went to services and checked the link I was sent with services and settings.

 

Went to black viper page changed some settings. Did not fix printer problem but now when I put computer in hybernate it does not shut down. Screen goes off but computer keeps running. It use to shut down after a few minutes.
