I have a new laptop with Windows 7 and I'm trying to set it up so I can send a print statement from that to a printer hooked up to my desktop PC running Vista. I can't seem to get this to work. Can anyone give me some instruction on how to get this to work? Also, my desktop is hooked up to DSL and I have the laptop also working well wirelessly through my DSL.

I'm assuming the DSL modem has a built in router in it which would mean everything is on the same network. If not all the below won't help. If this is a home environment make sure you put a password on the windows 7 and Vista machine. From there put them both on the same workgroup name. Then from the Vista machine that you have the printer hooked up to use sharing. Everything from there should work. If you need more specifics let me know which part and I can help you further from there.
