printing over INTERNET

    how can this be done? My aunt works at home sometiems and she needs to print stuff when she is at home but she logs into her computer at work via vnc. how do i add a priter to her computer at work that is in her house?

    wow, I really need to know how to do that as well, It could be that she uses Novell Corporate to link her printer into the Work Intranet using TCP/IP...or other than that, I dont know what im talking about...lol. Good luck figureing that out.

    actually she dose use novell but only to access the work comptuer but she can't print at home that's what i need :(

    Just add it like a regular printer. Shouldn't have any issue.

    threw vnc? when she is at home and the vnc's into work? we could pry add a network printer then use their IP but it's dynamic.

    thanx. i already know that place. so kodo since you are sugesting that do you conferm what i said will work? will i have to foward ports in the router? what will i have to do?

    internet printing uses port 80. It's not suggested that you use internet printing for security reasons but, yes, you can do it.
