printing problem

    I would like to be able to print from my laptop.
    The laptop runs vista and my desktop runs XP.
    The desktop is connected to the printer (HP photosmart C5180).
    I have the a wireless router installed to I can use the laptop anywhere in the house.
    Question: Can I get the laptop to be able to use the printer in the basement?:confused
