Whatever document I try to print multiple copies of, my
network printers only print one copy.

This occurs with all 3 printers - Epson Stylus c600, HP
Deskjet 610c and HP Officejet R45 - when trying to print
from a pc running Win XP.

I have no problems with printing when using a PC with
    Win98.

It makes no difference what software I am trying to print from.

Any suggestions as to what may be causing it and/or how to
    resolve it.

    Thanks

    Too basic?

Well.. how are you going about printing multiple copies? The most appropriate way would be to go to the File menu and select print. This will give you a dialog box in which you can pick the number of copies to print. I'm being as basic as I can, due to the fact that I don't know how knowledgable you may or may not be. In any case, we'll advance towards solving the problem ;)

Note that my operating system may differ:

Hmmmm how knowledgeable am I ?

Knowledgeable enough to install the network, update the pc to XP etc. I have been using computers for 20 years so I know a fair bit :)

I have changed the number of copies required on the above screen but it only prints one copy, no matter what number you put in the box.

How are the printers connected to the network? What are they directly attached to? The DeskJet 610c doesn't have an RJ-45, I'm guessing.

Are the connected to the 98 machine and then shared? Is there a thrid machine? Do you have a print server?

All 3 are connected via a 6 port hub, but are shared via the 98 machine as they did not appear on the network directly. There is not normally a 3rd machine, although my laptop can also connect to the network.

I never print from that so am not sure if the same problem occurs, will try tomorrow and let you know - after I kick myself for missing a basic step :)

Ok tried printing from the laptop and that has the same problem.

Is it an XP thing as the only pc that prints multiple copies is running 98 or could it be the way I have configured the printers on the network?

Off hand, I would guess it would be a problem with:
    1. Windows 98.
    2. Windows 98 printer sharing.
    3. Driver incompatibility (Windows XP is sending commands to the Windows 98 drivers, if I remember 98 printer sharing right).

Try hooking the printers to the XP machine and sharing that way.
