When I print from the web, it comes out in HTML instead of the formatted text displayed on the web page. This fault has only just occurred. How can I correct it please?

Your OS? Which web browser are you using? What does Print Preview show? Does this happen with all web pages?

Do you have SP2 or SP3 for windows XP installed? IE 6 or 7?

Did you make any software changes, i.e. installation or removal or change in settings, around the time this started?

Are you getting any other abnormal output to your printer from other applications (word processing, etc.)?

As a troubleshooting step, I suggest deleting your browser history (under Tools, Internet Options, Browsing History, and click Delete). Note: I have IE 7.

    SP3

    IE 6 or 7?
    IE6

Yes. (I have tried to revert to a previous state with System Restore but I persistently get an ‘unable to restore’ message!)

Are you getting any other abnormal output to your printer from other applications (word processing, etc.)?

No. If I "print" the page as a PDF and then print it conventionally, there is no problem.

Does anyone else have any ideas? This thread has lead nowhere.

If the webpage has an option to "PRINT", use that. Some pages have this option (usually in upper right) to convert large pages to a printable format.

Many thanks. Still no success. I also have an associated problem in that the Properties bar for changing the page size and selecting colour or black & white is inoperative so perhaps I have a Windows OS error.

I started with 4 but discoverd that I had IE 7, not 6, so simply performed a reset. Sorry about the gender presumption! Best regards and thanks again.
