Do not use MG covert op keyloggers. I tested three different one and all 3 put on a Win 32 trojan. One even said to just put the trojun in the chest. Tokk me three days to clean up the mess. I was just trying to check up on Mr. Wonderful.

Please elaborate on your statement...all files here at MG are screened and tested before making them available for download. What specific trojan are you saying you had? And, what keyloggers did you download? Note: Many anti-virus software programs and spyware programs will give you a 'false postive' saying a keylogger is a trojan when in fact it's not...which in essence is what anti-spyware programs and such are supposed to do..lets you know if someone else has installed something on your computer.

Also, did you report your concern via the main site so that it could be investigted?

The problem here is not being familiar with programs that can register as a virus or trojan. These include keyloggers, bios programs, etc. If you can tell me what program, I will be glad to confirm. To be honest, we get roughly 3 emails a week accusing us of spreading a virus, and 2 years into we have proven it was not our fault when allowed.

The keylogger programs WILL be detected by most if not all AV programs as Keylogging Trojans because they log key actions. That's what they do. Your AV is doing its' job by reporting it but the keyloggers are NOT to be considered infected.

What Kodo and AbbySue said, also Again, keep in mind MajorGeeks tests every program listed here. We test them for viruses, spyware and to be sure they do what they claim. We reject 90% of the software submitted here because it is either not in line with the tools we list here or the program raises question as to its quality. That said, we are human beings and make mistakes, so we always check any program someone says has a problem, just to be safe.
