Private messages

Not sure where to post this question.
Anyhow I have my pm options set to pop up when I have a message and it doesn't work.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Is there anyway to fix this?

 

Turn off your popup blocker?

 

Or set an exception in your pop-up-blocker to allow pop-ups from Major Geeks specifically.

Although, I'm currently using Firefox, and have set that exception to allow MG pops, and still don't get the pop-up notification either. (shrug)

 

Hey, I've been having this same problem for several weeks but just figured I was the only one. I have this site set for "popups allowed" and I always was getting the popup to show

Anyone else out there have it stop working for you recently too?

I just double checked and it still has a check mark for my settings.

Always check out all your options, you never know when you'll find something you might want to use.

How do you know there aren't other features you might like to use? It's always best to explore your options.

 

Hmm, I was wondering where they had got to Irritating, I found that feature quite useful, now I don't realise I have a PM unless I look at the box on the front page! (which I don't do very often)

 

I dont use a pop up blocker so I knew that wasnt it.

I found a couple messages I didnt realize I had because I always depended on the little pop up thingy

 

I just have mine set to send me an email when I get a PM. For a while that wasn't working, but it seems to be again. Or, at least it was the last time I got a PM.
