on xp when you set a password on your acount, it asks if you want to make your files private... well when i set mine up i set mine to private so no other acount can access them, now i have vista installed on another hard drive so i have the option to boot to xp or vista... but when on vista i cant access my files on xp, but can access my files on vista from xp. My problem is how (if possible) do you remove the private files option from a user acount on xp?

    Boot to xp
    Open My Computer.
click the drive where Windows is installed
click the Documents and Settings folder.
    click your user folder.
Right-click any folder in your user profile, and then click Properties.
On the Sharing tab, select the Make this folder private so that only I have access to it check box. Then deselect the option to make private.

If this isn't what you are talking about let me know
