prob after re-formatting

ok..i have another small prob in which i need help..after reformatting (os=winxp) when i open pages i keep getting the small white box w/the X in it. how do i fix that? it is just another small thing driving me nutso..thanks and huggerz

well unfortunately this did not take care of my little red x's is there anything else that i can do? or something maybe corrupted in the files?

 

try emptying your temp internet files folder, does this happen on everypage? and does it occur with every pic or just certain file types?

 

yea i dump temp files/cookies and clean history daily. i do have etrust ezarmor (firewall,virus,pestpatrol) and spybot s&d and adware programs. i run them every morning. it is not all pages that i get those annoying red x's mostly on msn pages ie..hotmail..and groups that i am a member of. i have tried everything and still just cannot get it fixed. man i am so pc duhhhh. sorry to be bugging ya'll with something small and menial. but thanks for all of your help.

Note: When doing the registry fix make sure to make a backup of your registry just in case something goes wrong

 

ok i did the registry fix but it was all as it should be. so that is a no go also. grrr this stupid pc makes me want to just say goodbye to it lol...i do appreciate ya'll's help and think you guys are doing such a great thing for us individuals that need help.

 

well i have done everything ya'll suggested and still those dang x's are there. they are more frequent and on alottt of pages. msn yahoo google. is there anything else i can do or did i lose something in the process of re-formatting? i bookmarked the dell site ya'll gave me when i had a sound issue. but for the life of me can't figure all that out. please help as these x's are interferring with a class i take online.
