Problem After Downloading And Uninstalling Advanced Codecs 14.0.7

Hello,

I experienced a problem after I downloaded ADVANCED Codecs 14.0.7 from this site:

I just changed the settings as described in the following link and then put them back how they were before uninstalling the program 10 minutes later (https://beebom.com/how-add-subtitles-windows-media-player/)

I restarted my PC (Windows 10)

Afterwards, whenever I right-click with my mouse on a file, the advanced menu options are no longer listed. When I would right-click, I would get a drop down menu of things that were very useful, such as an option of "Open with" where you get to select the programs to open a file for example after right-clicking.

Now these options are barebones and maybe 40% of what I had before. 60% of my options are missing! This is high up there in the damage that installing this program had for me since I heavily relied on this function day-to-day

I tried to do a system restore, but that was not an option as that was disabled recently due to low disk space.

Can anyone please help on how to get my old setting back? Thank you kindly

 

EDIT: I would like to restore all the past settings and there were many useful ones. Not only would I need to get, "Open with" back, but all the other ones that are suddenly missing (I am also not sure which other ones are missing, but there are many)
