problem in internet connection

    hello all,
    i hv a problem in windows xp in normal mode..millions of packets are sent but thousands received..making the connection very slow and frequently i get disconnected whereas the ping is continuous but everything is fine in safe mode with networking..
    can anyone help!!!thanks..

    Unless you are uploading a lot of large files or running some kind of server application, your received packet count should be much larger then your sent as a general rule for a regular usage home PC.

    Sounds like you might have some net-nasty hijacking your machine. Did this issue start after you installed a program or something?
