PROBLEM INSTALLING SIMCITY 4! Help! D:

I haven't ever had it on this computer before, but I get the prompt popup to enter disk 2, and as soon as I do and click "OK", the install freezes. It's just a gray screen (and window that go in front of it turn it white, etc, etc).

Help? :cry

 

We'll start with minimum system requirements...

500 MHz Pentium III processor. Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows ME, or Windows 98; or Mac OS X, version 10.2 or later. 128 MB RAM, 256 MB RAM for Windows XP. 1 GB hard disk space. 32 MB DirectX 7.0-compatible video card, 8x CD-ROM drive.

We'll take it you meet these?
If you have on board video with shared memory...
Make sure your rolling with at least 32MB's
And remember with shared memory... if you have 256MB of system RAM installed...
You still have to minus the video RAM from the total.
Now otherwise...

Next check all CD disks for scratches...
Especially disk 2.
