So for like one month now, the site I been going to for almost 6 months straight, just suddenly stops working? It's a site called "forums.nom-nom-nom.us" I wait for it to load up and it keeps saying....

    "Problem Loading Page
    The connection has timed out

The server at forums.nom-nom-nom.us is taking too long to respond.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web."

Every other site works but this site? It also won't let me play anything that has to do with nom...like our nom server on Team Fortress 2, or the nom server for Minecraft says that same thing?
I tried every different browser and noticed it has something do with my Pc only? it works on everyone else's computer with my accounts but mines?

As for soulutions I havent seen one yet, I tried everything, I opened my dns server, I replugged in my router for my internet and still nothing. It has been almost 3 weeks now and I've spoken to many mods due to this issue and there all boggled. Any help would surely be appreciated thank you

    Hi

    What Windows version you using?

Have you done the normal first steps of deleting temps and cookies? I would do that and also flush your dns local resolver cache (open a CMD prompt and type at the cursor ipconfig /flushdns and hit enter, do this a few times, will need to elevate the CMD prompt if you are using Vista or Win7, right click CMD and choose Run as Administrator)

DNS server is that like OpenDNS or GoogleDNS? or a Dedicated DNS Server/soft like BIND? if the first options then go back to using your ISP/Hosts DNS.

Add from the CMD prompt an ipconfig /all log and paste into notepad and attach as per HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post

Also what security software is installed and have you disabled it to test?

Hi there and thank you for your answer. I use Windows Vista and I forgot to include that I already done a Command Prompt and saw nothing work...But I will do what you said with the CMD prompt thing once more. As for Security and/or firewalls I can only disable my security by deleting it and I don't want to do that for just one site.

Okay here is a log of what I've done so far...

    1) deleted all temps and cookies
    2) Opening CMD prompt, I entered "ipconfig /flushdns" over 10 times and the sentence "The requested operation requires elevation"

3)I just need some help as too, where I right click on CMD to find the tab where I can choose Run as administrator?

    4) Dns sever is OpenDNS. Yes I will go back then to my regular way then you're correct.

    5) I will attach my things after I find out how to run as administrator on CMD prompt.

Thank you guys for any help to this matter!

    Hi

I see your running wireless and not ethernet, could you plug your PC into the router via ethernet over using wireless and see if that helps, may just help narrow the issue down more.

Did you also from the elevated cmd prompt run ipconfig /flushdns if not try it a few times.

As this is only seeming to be one site, is anyone on that site and more so the server admin, got any clues as to whats going on, maybe your IP address is blocked for some reason. (I know you cannot ask the forum admins on that site the questions and continue with your thread you have open there, but use a friends PC to login and ask if they have any ideas)

Is your Team Fortress 2 version fully upto date? Steam generally does this automatically but check the last update to your local client part of the game, and their was an update on 9th August.

Can you via Steam connect to any other server, their are a few open game servers listed, if you cannot then check your firewall is not blocking steam.

Hi again first of all I wanted to say thanks for helping me so much so far...

I'm really can't get to my Ethernet cables right now so, just scratch that off. There lost and one is broken.

I did run ipconfig /flushdns a few times already.

Yes My bf on the site has posted a thread for me which is open were just waiting for him the main admin to reply now.

Yes I always update all the steam games I have.

I actually connected to a friends other server on TF2 and it worked perfectly for me, so that shows Im just blocked on the main one I used to use?
