Problem Playing AVI Files

Hi

I got some avi files of the movies, most of them not complete but almost a whole length movies, unfortunately when I try running them they just give audio and I do not get video at all.

I have tried using Windows Media Player , PowerDVD and both seem to do the same, even when I tried to convert it to other formats these avi files refused to get converted.

Any ideas ? Please help

sounds like you may need the divx codec. http://www.divx.com/

Yup.. Audio-no video likely means you don't have the right video codec.

Get G-Spot which will tell you what codec you need to get.
