Problem Playing Correct Youboob Video

On the Youtube site:

Sometimes when I finish viewing one video and click on another, everything on the screen reflects the new video but when I click the Play icon, the previous video plays. If I then click the Reload icon at the upper left of the screen the new video then plays.

Other times the new video plays without problems.

This started a few weeks ago (been viewing youtube videos for several years now). Anybody know what the problem might be and how it can be fixed?

It helps if you post what version of Windows and what Browser(s) this occurs in.

Happens in Firefox for me - even continues to happen after Firefox was updated - I've not researched it, but you're not suffering alone.

Don't know what's wrong with me... I'm using Windows 10 Home upgraded to the "latest" (1908, I think) and am using Firefox version 72.

I don't run Windows 10 so I can't help with that.
Since mid-February in Win 7 YouTube has been extremely slow on 3 browsers I tried. I'm so sick of seeing "if playback doesn't begin soon, restart your device". No one else seems to be complaining so I know it is something on my computers. I just haven't been able to figure out what.
