problem saving pictures off the internet

When i try and save a picture off of a web site it only gives me the option to save it as a .art or .bmp. I want to open these pictures in adobe photo shop but it doesnt read those formats. What do i do to fix this problem????

download irfan view. irfanview will recognize and save in just about any format.

 

to fix this problem, just clear out your temporary internet cache.. make sure you check the box that says delete offline files as well.

 

Either that (clear the TIF) or, if you are trying to save pictures from the address that begins with username/pass combo(ahem), then it's a known issue and all you have to do is delete user/pass from the address and reload page. Then all will be pink again...
