Ever since I loaded the latest service pack, the stupid MSN messenger program loads everytime I log into my mail. I have changed the prompt to NOT automatically load in the options, but it still keeps turning on everytime I start Outlook Express. How do you permanently turn this off? I don't want MSN to load...ever.

Also, the security program keeps popping up telling me there is an issue with my virus protection, even though there isn't. Is there a way to make that go away/stop as well?

Thanks geeks! I appreciate your help.

    Hey . . . A familiar face :)

Regarding MSN Messenger - There are a number of ways and tools to deal with this. The regulars in this forum will know better than I which are best.

You can disable the Security Center anti-virus message by clicking on the shield in the service tray and opening the Windows Security Center. In the box on the left, select "Change the way Security Center alerts me" and uncheck the Virus Protection box. That ought to do it ;)

Thanks to both of you! They were just nuisance, but nuisance just the same! Both suggestions seem to have worked!

Nice to 'see' you again PP! Thanks for the help!
