Whenever I start Access, I get a box that says "Preparing to install" followed by anoher box that says "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft XP Professional with FrontPage."

It happens every time I start Access, but it doesn't happen on any of my other MS Office programs. After the boxes are done doing their thing, then Access works fine.

Is there any way to open Access without the boxes every time?

    Thanks!

Open Access let it proceed through the start up codes then either read and follow the steps below:

    OR

Open Access let it proceed through the start up codes then click Microsoft Access Help and type in "Access Professional front Page" and use the link phrases for more direct access to the steps you are looking for that will change the start up you are experiencing.

Display a form or data access page at startup

    1. <LI class=LPROC>On the Tools menu, click Startup.
    2. In the Display Form/Page box, click a form or data access page from the current Microsoft Access file.
