problem uninstalling Advanced Systemcare 3

Some months ago, I downloaded Advanced System Care 3. At this point, I have version 3.8. I am fairly pleased with its performance. On the dashboard, there is a link to download the v. 4.0 beta. I clicked on it. It downloaded the software but said the previous version would have to be completely uninstalled in order to install the new version. I proceeded to do so but the built-in uninstaller freezes and will not uninstall the software. I have tried Revo and the iobit uninstallers but they freeze because they use the built-in uninstaller. Any suggestions how I can get rid of the program and go back to CCleaner?

Have you tried the Force Uninstall in Revo ?? I use this when the in built uninstaller fails, all you need to do is type in the programs file name and hit uninstall, then follow up on the prompts.

Thanks. I'll give it a shot. I think I was using the freeware version. I have now downloaded the pro version trial. The freeware didn't have a forced uninstall.
