Problem Uploading Attachments W/ Yahoo Email

Hi... Normally i don't have any problems with Yahoo Email... but today i'm trying to email an assignment to my teacher and it WILL NOT let me upload a MS Word Document... the filename is AssignmentFour.doc... I was able to load a small image (which is part of the assignment) but when i try to upload a this word document it just takes forever to load and eventually doesn't get anywhere... I've tried renaming the word document, no luck...

Could someone else that uses Yahoo Email try uploading a MS Word file attachment and tell me if it works for them or not?

 

i had to send the info as a .txt file w/ notepad to bypass this problem... just curious why yahoo email refuses to upload .doc files

 

Works for me.

However, it is best practice to .zip a file before attaching it to an email document. Not only is the file smaller, but you gain the benefit of the .zip CRC check so the recipient will know if the file was damaged in transit.
