Problem using Windows Explorer Help program

This is another problem I had discovered. Whenever I go to the Windows Help program, either via the Windows Explorer or the Start button, some information is given. However, on any item underlined and in blue color takes me to the IE Page Cannot Be Displayed.

When I click on the WEB HELP button on the menu I get A message,

Internet Explorer Script Error
An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 85
Char: 3
Error: Permission denied
Code: 0
URL: ms-
its:C:\WINNIT\Help\ntshared.chm::/webhelp_redirection.htm

Try it in SafeMode w/ Networking.

 

No, on a 56K modem, single user stand alone PC.
I'll try going to the safe mode though just to see if that works. Get back to you later, thanks.

 

Fixing IE may resolve this anyway.

No. Same thing happens in the SafeMode.
