problem viewing pictures

    I am using Mozilla Firefox. I can't view some pictures. I get something that looks like a broken newsreel film with something stuck in the middle. Do I need to use something to delete malware? Thanks for your help.

    Are you using any adblocking software or FF plugin?
    Is the photo timing out? (webpage takes a long time to load)
    Do you have an link to an example?

    Tools/Options/content tab. Do you have load images automatically checked/ticked?

    I find that the problem doesn't happen when using Explorer. Sometimes Explorer will shut down with an error message, but at least I can view videos. It is with Firefox that I have the problem. I am not using any adware blocks that I know of. I have no idea what configurations and plugins I have. Thanks to all of you for your help.
