This is actually probably a hardware or possibly a driver issue, but here I am in the Software forum....

Brand new custom built PC; Win7 X64; AMD HD7950 video card; newest drivers installed. 2 displays, one each in a different room. The displays have VGA and DVI connectors. The video card has 1xDVI, 2xMini-Display Port, 1xHDMI. Several different adapters are available to get the displays connected to the video card.

Here's the problem: for some reason, the video driver will NOT allow the 2 displays to show as 2 individual displays, as in display "1" and display "2". It will only allow a 'landscape' mode where both displays come up as one big display. Is this a limitation of the card and the assorted ports? Is it poor driver creation by AMD?
