One of the computers on my home network refuses to connect to the internet and it just stopped working out of nowhere. I use a linksys router and my other computer uses wireless, but this computer connects through an ethernet cord through the router. I tried everything I could think of (uninstalling and reinstalling ethernet port drivers, repairing the connection, running it in safe mode with networking, virus scans, spyware scans, connecting the modem directly to the computer) but none of these work. I have two ethernet ports on the computer and I've tried both of them as well. I just don't know what else to do considering my other computer connects fine. The computer is using Windows XP Professional as its OS. Any ideas? I also can't repair the connection or use system restore. It just says the ARP cache can't be cleared when I try to repair connection.
