Problem with ASUS BIOS

I don't know if BIOS should be listed as hardware or software so I'm just putting it here as it is not OS related.

Ill start with listing my specs, then what im trying to do and what it is telling me.

    BIOS Info:
    ASUS M2N32 SLI-DELUXE
    ACPI BIOS REVISION: 0302
    BIOS ROM SIZE: 1024kb
    STARTING ADDRESS: 0xe000
    CHARACTERISTICS: 0x000000007fcb9e80

    MOBO Info
    VERSION: 1.xx
SERIAL: 123456789000 (yes i know how stupid that sequence is but i swear to god its what it says lol)

So what I am trying to do is use easy flash to update my BIOS because it is just old enough that Vista screws up its UBS_DEVICE_DRIVER and that causes blue screen crashes. It also blocks me from using external data storage devices such as thumb/flash drives, USB connected etxternal HD's (SATA or PATA), and it even keeps me from getting content off of digital cameras/recorder HD's.

The problem I run into is that when I downloaded the proper file, uncompressed it, put it on a 3.5 floppy and tried to run easy flash through bios, it says that the "bios file size" is not the same and then aborts the EZ Flash from bios. I have also tried the ASUS software to prep windows vista before trying this and it simply states that it does not support my version of windows, even though i downloaded the x64 vista version and am running Vista x64 ultimate edition with all necessary patches/SP's. The version i am trying to replace it with is 1607.

Can someone PLEASE reply with a possible fix, or if they know of and have access to the appropriate file (in case 1607 isnt the right one) please link it.

    Thank you in advance,
    -Kyle Campbell

Try dropping the voltage down in your bios settings (for USB) .. this may work but it sure slows down the transfer rate.

That didn't work, I suppose that I should also mention that nothing recognizes my CPU either, appearently the Athlon 64 X2 5400 model is also too high for my Mobo to recognize it.
