Problem With Fonts

I am having a few problems with the fonts on my computer. It seems that the folder doesnt work anymore. When I go to control panel...the folder has the icon for a shortcut and it wasnt like that before. Its like a regular folder now. It doesnt have the "install a new font" option or anything. Before we did the system restore...it was working fine.

The old fonts that I downloaded are still there but they dont show up on webpages or anywhere. I have photoshop and in the fonts drop down menu....none of them show. It only has the default fonts. So my question is for you is....How can the folder be fixed back & working properly.

no that didnt help me that much. I have windows ME.

 

TweakUI utility made by MS works with all Windows flavors, have you actually tried the 'repair icons' feature found on the Repair tab? Also make sure you are using the TweakUI ver.1.33, the XP version was meant for WindowsXP only.
