Problem with Fraps

I am having a problem with Fraps. I recorded a few demos in Call of Duty 2 but i cannot record them. The yellow fps indicator blinks red instead of staying red and recording. I have tried Fraps with other applications and it records just fine.

If you're using a high resolution in that game, but not in others... or high complexity, then you might be having disk space problems. Or it might be that the resolution is too high to capture in real time.

 

Well I'm not running too high a resolution I drop it down to 640x480 to record and I dont think that disk space is a problem...I have 171 GB free out of 189. What do you mean too high of complexity?

Also if you need to know fraps is set to record at 30 fps.

 

try it at diverant recording speeds like 20 i had the same problem and that worked for me (in world of warcraft that is)

 

I tried other framerate settings for recording but none worked. I still get the fps indicator that flashes red then goes back to yellow. Anyone else have any ideas???
