problem with IE

Hi folks.

Lately I keep getting a message saying " This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way " when I go to open IE.

Sometimes system restore will fix it for a day or two but it keeps coming back.

I am on SP2 with all but the latest updates.

Running Zonelabs Security suite.

Specs:

2.53 pentium
512 DDRAM
60 gig maxtor hd.
Regularly run Adaware ( the free one )

I have a Yahoo browser which I am on right now but this IE prob messes things such as MSN for me.

Any ideas/suggestions?

I have the obvious solution..........Download and use FireFox as your browser. Sorry I can't help in the IE thing Good Luck

That's a real general error message. What runtimes do you have installed Flash, Shochwave, Sun Java? One of them may need to be reinstalled; I have no way of knowing which one. You are going to have to unistall them one at a timie to find the problem.
