Problem with Internet Explorer 5.5

    Can someone help me. The PC is running Windows ME. I want to upgrade to IE6 but something is missing and some functions will not install. I was trying to uninstall IE5.5 but cant't. There is no entry in the ADD/REMOVE programs for Microsoft Internet Explorer. At some point IE6 must have been installed because Outlook Express is running Version 6. I cannot find any entry where it was downloaded. IE5.5 is working but I want to upgrade to IE6. I AM OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS. Larry
