Problem with LimeWire

    Hay!

    So, here's the deal...whenever I start LimeWire it takes forever to connect, and by forever, I mean it never connects. After it has tried to connect for 30 secs or so, it also does something with my connection cause nothing internet-related works, like MSN, any browser, steam etc...
    Could be my antivirus blocking it, but the thing is, I can't uninstall it, it's called McAfee so if anyone has any advice plz say so :)

    Hi

    Which McAfee product do you have, is it just AntiVirus or is it the Internet Security Suite? if the Security Suite and or you use a 3rd party Firewall, check the firewall settings to allow LimeWire through the firewall as this is generally the cause.

    Which Windows version are you using also?

    McAfee security center I believe it is called, but the thing is I can't access it, if I click it it just opens an error saying that my version of McAfee is not configurated for my operating system. I am using Vista
