Problem with mp3 player

Hi I have a 4GB Siren mp3player but now when i try to start the player it says:
"Warning! Boot error.Shutting down..." and it doesn't start. How can I make it work again?

You probably need to update the firmware for the mp3 player. What model Siren is it?

 

It's Siren IV 4gb mpa player

 

So there is no firmware updates on Siren's site http://www.sirenplayer.com/products/mp3.html

They state if you cannot find the download you require to email them here support@sirenplayer.com

The other alternative is to format your player. However, that would result in you losing all the tracks you have on it unless they are backed up. It also doesn't mean this will resolve the problem permanently and you may need to do it again. A firmware update is your best bet. Happy to walk you through the format if you decide that is the way to go.

now my PC recognize the player as "Player recovery device class"! What a hell is that?

 

This is the computer recovery manager attempting to help you get it running, but as I said, you need a firmware update. The "player recovery device class" confirms that. The player will not connect to the PC without this.

 

how can I update the firmware when i cannot connect the player to the pc?
