problem with mp3 player

my mp3 had the battery die so i changed it it starts up saying system as the file it wont do anything from there if you go to turn it off and stop mid way all it does is change from system to no file

i put it in my usb port and i just reads 0 bytes

also my computer at work wouldnt read that it had music files on it before this even happend it would only read its mic folder but no media from it and same with i think it was an audio book folder.
plus it wouldnt sync right with the media player the player read that it was full of music but wouldnt play any of it

i realy need this to be fixed preferably asap if at all possible

 

trying not to double post but ran outa edit time lol here is a pic of the properties it wont even read that its called emerson its a Emerson MP3 Player 3.50.00 (1GB)

 

well got it to play music regularly havnt had chance to try usb port
