problem with my IBM T30

    I have an IBM T30 laptop that has served me well but in the last couple monts the RAM has been over heating like crazy and the cpu chip gets extremely hot i have 2 512mb sticks of RAM and my cpu is 1.60 GHz and is clocked at 1.20 GHz i am xp pro on it and was wondering if anyone knows what could be causing it to overheat like it is
