    Hello all

Ive been bugging around with my sound driver ever sinds my new install of win XP
    the problem is this..

I have an ASUS P5KC with onboard realtek ALC883 sound.
Been installing the latest drivers from asus , and so forth, been running window updates all night long. And when i wanted to start voice communicating, my mic sounded really distorted. also, i could hear my PC sounds form the game i was playing (( as if it was mixxed with my voice ))
there's tremendous amount of static, and i cant seem to configure it iun the option menu.
Also..my front plate (( coolermaster stacker )) doesnt appear to work correctly

Ive tried , deinstalling the drivers , reinstalling new ones
Altered the registry due to rumors of the SP 3 bug with the advanced bus.

i havent deinstalled the 118XXX thingie yet..
not sure how to work this out.

    Can annyone please help me?

    Thanks..

    Jord
