Problem with New (3.0) Firefox

Installed the new browser ... looks good, but upon attempt (uh, 8 attempts - over the course of almost an hour) to download McAfee Site Advisor (from here/MG's) am told "This download has been blocked by your Security Zone Policy - majorgeeks.com". Have never had (seen) this problem or this particular error - I'm certain it has to do with the new browser as Site Advisor was the first thing I attempted to do after installing the new browser.

I have "allowed" "majorgeeks.com", "www.majorgeeks.com", "files6.majorgeeks.com" and "www.files6.majorgeeks.com" through all of the various filters in FF options - to no avail.

Any clues?

 

PS - same deal with trying to download Windows Defender from here. I'll play with it while I await a reply - but I'm stuck for now (?) ... OOOOPS - I apologize - I did not mean to bump the post/thread - looks like I hit "Quote" instead of "Edit" - or was timed-out - I'm a li'l tired here ...
