    Hey all

I recently have purchased an Nvidia 8800 GT graphics card to upgrade my 7900GTX

When following the instructions in the pack, when turning the machine on, all the fans work etc however the screens will not find the card. The computer also seems to be going round in circles as the cd drives seem to start working then stop almost like looking for a disc. The hard drive is also constantly going.

When replacing it back with my old graphics card the computer runs fine.

I am currently running on an ASUS M2V-MX-SE motherboard with 2GB of ram
    AMD Athalon X2 4600+

    Thanks in advance

What Power Suppy Unit is in your computer? And does your card require additional power? My 8800 has a 6 pin plug on it for power.

I have a 500W power supply, not sure of the make cant see any insignias etc

It has a 6 pin that comes out into 2 seperate power cables both with 3 pins in each, ive tried connecting it to one and both and have had the same problem
