yea...well...i have bootleg version of windows xp...so i was wondering if that would be the cause of this problem...

when i try to install norton...i keep getting an erroe message..(a bunch of numbers and letters i forget what)...so i did some research and the norton site told me stuff like delete all instances of norton out of the registry...and i did everything it said...for some reason...still same error?

    :cry

i need antivirus...and not like avira or some free stuff...those hardly pick any up...so a lil help here plz?

Did you delete both norton and symantec from the registry? Just a guess but when I uniinstalled norton, I found both in the registry. That is unless you have some other product by symantec

Depends the version of NAV you installed, check out the manual uninstallation documents (link)

my suggestion is that you reformat your hard drive and you install a LEGAL operating system instead.

my suggestion is that you drop Norton and use Avast...
