Problem with printing to USB printer in Citrix

We are running XenApp and we have users that cannot print to a local USB printer when printing from any apps from that Citrix server.

The printer is recognized, but it says it's an invalid printer.

anyone have issues with this and have any advice?

 

Have you verified the printer config and the print server config?

I'm afraid I have the same problem in my office. Though I can print this page or any other or from WORD, when I load an app in Citrix, like a client's account, I can't print it.

I was told by the corporate techies that there was no way around this, because it is a USB printer. :confused

Maybe those techies were right.

I can print to a printer connected right to my machine, but not to a local USB printer, at least not from Citrix.

I THINK at the time it was because I was using VISTA, and when I first set it up with Citrix, I couldn't do it on-line like the XP machines did. They had to email me a special setup file. But that was over a year ago, you'd think this would be worked out by now!
