Problem with "save as" function

    This is the problem: when on the web I am trying to save a file (like a jpg) to the hard drive by right clicking the mouse and selecting the save as function. Nothing happens. When I right click the second time the internet connection is broken and I am returned to the desktop. I can't figure what has gone wrong. It used to work fine. Any suggestions?

    Try clearing your temporary internet files.

    Actually that is when I first noticed that the function didn't work. I have been clearing the files for sometime (many months) but I recently purchased a program from Acronis that did it easier. I can't say for sure that one followed the other but the "save as" function stopped working around that time.
