problem with screen

    My screen will not come on when I turn on my tower. When I turn on my tower, the light on the screen blinks and when I try to turn on my screen, it says that there is no signal. Could anyone help me?

    P.S. This is with Windows XP/MAG Screen and Compaq tower

    I dont know what graphics card is in it but I turn on the tower and then I turn on the screen and it says no signal in a little blue box
