Problem with stream and audio online

Ok, not sure what may have happened, but possibly my Java update may have had something to do with it.

Lately, I go on youtube, or just any site with video stream or audio stream and when I play it in WMP, it would play nicely.

Well, just last night Ive noticed that NOW when I play a youtube video on my computer through the website, or any streaming video or audio, it plays the video for 4 seconds and then stops, or the audio shuts off but the video keeps playing.

Something screwy happened, and not sure what may have caused this.

Im sure you guys are going to ask me technical questions, so whatever I need to look up, let me know.

What I know so far, is Im running Windows XP HE SP2
Using Mozilla - 2.0.0.6

From here, Im all ears.

 

I'd try to find out if it is a browser problem or not (which sounded like it was).
So, see if you can visit the same site with IE just for the sake of troubleshooting and see if the video plays fine or not. If it does then the problem is with Mozilla FF and a uninstall/re-install would be the first thing I'd try.
If IE doesn't play it either then either Java plug-in is corrupted or a recently installed security update might be the cause.

Yup, I believe its Mozilla. I played some of the videos off one of the website on IE, and the damn thing played fine.

Aight, thanks bro. Ill uninstall and reinstall Mozilla I guess.
