Problem With The 3d Scanner And Laptop

Hello everyone.
I have two laptops, Lenovo and Asus. When you connect the 3d scanner to them, while they are charging, everything is fine, no problems are detected. However, if you connect the 3D scanner to an Asus laptop when it is in battery mode, it immediately freezes and doesn't respond at all. To turn it off you have to open it and remove the battery. Put the battery back on and only then can it be turned on again. The old laptop does not have this issue. I have no idea what the problem is, can anyone tell me what is going on with this laptop? I would appreciate it.

Hello Alex,

I would suggest the following:
- Enable max performance mode on the notebook (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/customize/desktop/customize-power-slider), disable all optimization settings on ASUS
- Disable selective suspend for USB
- if there are 2 GPUs in this ASUS - make sure that the correct one is used.
