    Hello!

I have just installed a new codec in my computer which is K-Lite Codec Pack Standard. This program required me to delete all the other Codec that was previously installed in my computer, so I deleted them all. Now, my problem is that I'm trying to play a simple Mp3 file in Windows Media Player but it said that "An audio codec is needed to play this file." What should I do to make it work again? :confused

Hello! I've downloaded the FULL version in default but I'm still experiencing the same problem. What should I do? I'm not that quite experienced with codec. Can you recommend me a better codec but has many extensions to offer?

I forgot to tell you that my previous codec is XP Codec Pack 1.2.4 and Codec_is1 (I'm not very sure with this one).

Hi Sorry, very busy in worklife.

If the XP Codec pack worked well then revert back to that, their is no major need to change codec packs as the codec used is still the same one.

But remove all other codec packs first.

    Hello!

This is the screenshot of my problem in Windows Media Player.

Whenever I'm clicking Play All in the panel at the left side of the screen, this problem happens. Even though I have already downloaded the XP Codec Pack, it still won't detect it. How come?

I don't know if this problem is about the codec. But I think the problem is in Media Player. Can you help me about it?

    Hello!

I have the latest version installed in my computer. I also don't want to use the classic as my music player for some reasons. I want the latest version of media player to be used. Do you think that reinstalling Windows Media Player will work?

You can have both MPC and WMP installed on one computer - I do.

    Hello!

I can play those files in Windows Media Player Classic, but not in Windows Media Player. I will try to reinstall it. I would reply what are the results.

    Hello!

Yehey! I reinstall it and it is working properly now. Just install some codec that automatically appears.
