Problem with windows movie maker 2...

    I recorded a movie off my camcorder and encoded it with the software that came with the transfer wires into mpeg2 format. When i load it into movie maker to try to edit it the sound plays but theres no video in the preview window. The file is a little over a gig, could that be causeing it? Or is it an encoding/codec problem?
