Problem with WinRet I downloaded from MG.

I trusted this program and gave it a try. I backed up my driver and then formatted my hard drive. I reinstalled this program and tried to restore the driver, after I select the zip file, the program only shows “Inflating files from archive, please wait…” I waited over 5 hours, nothing happened and computer shows this program is not responding. I lost my drive CD for this computer, and now I don’t know what to do with this computer just b/c I trusted this damn program “WinRet”. This program is posted on 01-20-2006, called " WinRet 5.3a".
