Problem with Word 2010 and fonts

    - Word 2010 and all updates
    - Windows 7 Ultimate x64

    The problem with Word is that it is not sizing fonts properly. If I create a new document, enter some text, and then apply a font and size to the text, Word applies the right typeface, but does not size it properly, either onscreen or printed. It is consistently displaying and printing the text in a smaller typesize.

    These are basic system fonts, not addons.
    The problem does not occur with Word 2003.

    Any ideas?
