When ZA Pro is on its takes all of my CPU space and my connection to the internet works fine but when i disable it my connection goes off and cpu usage returns to Normal..Is Uninstalling it the only solution?

You could run install exe again and look if it gives you a repair option. If not, reinstall it. If that doesn't work then you have a problem. ;)

This is a known bug with the latest ZoneAlarm, according to their support forum, and will be fixed with the next release.

Well a bug means a small error..i think its a huge mistake to distribute the update of their version with an error this fatal..taking all of ur cpu usage/getting u disconnecting if u disable their software means they didnt test it enough and thats stupid.

No actually, a bug means, according to the dictionary, a fault or error on a machine or system, which is precisely what this is.

Stop being pendatic and get over it.

It works fine for the majority of people, and NO software works perfectly on every system, that's just how things are.

If you don't like it, don't buy or use it, it's very simple.

    What a smart arse.

I answered your question, and you didn't like the answer.

Fine, I couldn't care less, but you really need to grow up.

As far as being clueless, who is having problems with their computer, me or you? :)

I answered your post, sorry if it wasn't what you wanted to hear.

There is no magic solution, so if you don't like the answer, don't ask the question.

As I said, this is a known and documented bug, and according to ZoneAlarm, will be fixed with the next release.

    What exactly do you want?

BTW, if you want this thread closed, then keep it up with the childish name calling and personal attacks.

At the risk of offending an expert, I would recommend Sygate if ZoneAlarm isn't working properly!

    NickyAllen,

If you want help, you dont refer to other's posts as "dumbass." That attitude doesn't fly around here. If you have a legitimate post, make a new one, with less attitude.

Everyone else, don't play into the nonsense. If a poster is making inflamatory comments, stop helping them and move on. A much more powerful tool is silence. Don't play into the BS.
